Screamers are not teachers !!

Life goes on...it seems like a race where everyone

is running in different directions. The thirst to achieve

the goals on time in office, the homemakers trying to

make a perfect home, the entrepreneurs are trying

every day to go one step ahead to achieve their

goals and now I see the little ones joining the race too.

The load of books is not only heavy physically but

mentally also. The students are working harder than

I could ever imagine,to score better than their

peer groups. It's nice to see that they are competitive.

I mean it's healthy to have competition among children

but not at the cost of stress.

We all are aware of the fact that suicide rate among

studentsis increasing. We often read about it but

never botherto tell a student around us that its OK

to not to score good. It's OK not to complete

your work ,it's OK not to understand books.

Sounds very easy to implement.

We all can be a teacher,

a teacher who says that you are perfect,

a teacher who tells you that scoring good or even

passing in exams is not worth your tears and definitely

not worth your life. Parents and teachers have always

emphasized on the good students. The comparison

of our children with the academically stronger kids

is something very deteriorating for them.

It doesn't matter if you are a teacher, a parent,

a tuition teacher, neighbor or friend.

Relationship over here doesn't count...it is what you do

or what you say that matters.

You are a teacher if for once you have a positive

impact on any students rather anyone's life.

P.S. - Before every exam (class tests or finals)

I never forget to hug my child and say

whatever happens in the exam,

good or bad doesn't matter. Mom loves you

and you are very precious.

We have worked hard and only that is important.
